Dec 18, 2022
So far, it’s fair to say that Disney+ is very happy with the performance of the various Marvel Studios TV series. Each streaming series seems to be fairly well-loved by critics and fans, with Marvel seriously committing to bringing new and existing characters to the world of streaming. But perhaps the most anticipated Disney+ Marvel series in the works right now is none other than “Daredevil: Born Again,” which is deep in the middle of casting.

According to Deadline, Margarita Levieva and Sandrine Holt are the latest actors to join the growing cast of the upcoming “Daredevil: Born Again.” They join a cast that is set to include Charlie Cox as the titular hero, Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin, and Michael Gandolfini in an undisclosed role. Not much is known about who Levieva and Holt are playing, but the report claims they will serve as “love interests for the two leads.” Does that mean Vanessa Fisk and Elektra? That’s speculation for another day.

“Daredevil: Born Again” is the first solo series for Charlie Cox in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Previously, he played the character for three seasons as part of Netflix’s “Daredevil.” That show was never fully recognized as MCU canon, but Cox quickly became a fan favorite. Now, after a cameo in “Spider-Man: No Way Home” and a few appearances in “She-Hulk,” Charlie Cox is ready for this new version of Daredevil to get his own TV series.
‘Born Again’ is a supersized series for Marvel, clocking in at 18 episodes. The series is written and produced by Matt Corman and Chris Ord. Production is expected to begin in 2023 with a 2024 release date on Disney+.
