Unforgettable Vegas Challenge Sparks Emotional Twist Connection
Jul 17, 2025
Love Island USA Season 7, episode 33 sees the islanders continue to grow their connections as they move ever closer to the end of the season. They grieve the loss of day one islander Taylor and his partner Clarke, but the journey continues, and the mood is lifted with a bubbly, Vegas-themed challenge. And as evening falls, one happy couple is chosen to spend a secluded night in the hideaway.
Emotions Run High as Love Island Loyalties Are Tested and Romance Deepens
The episode opens with the islanders processing Clarke and Taylor’s elimination. Ace is upset to see his best friend go, and Chelley comforts him through it. “You gotta make sure you cry tonight. And I’ll cry with you.” They reflect on America not being on their side this season, unaware that public opinion is finally starting to shift in their favor. Ace doesn’t care what anyone else thinks—what matters is that he and Chelley know what they have. “I’m confident in us. And I’ve been confident in us. America could vote a thousand times, and I’m still going to choose you,” he declares. Romantic music swells. Huda and Chris debrief about their spat the previous night. They’re in a deadlock over Huda’s unwillingness to show him affection in public, and Chris is beginning to check out. They still can’t seem to find a resolution, and once again, the conversation ends with Huda walking off. Both seek counsel from other islanders, and Ace encourages Chris to see things through with Huda and find a way to communicate effectively.
Love Islanders Get Wet and Wild in the Viva Las Villa Challenge
It’s a new day for the islanders, and Ace wakes everyone up by banging pots and pans in the shared bedroom. The islanders all split off to discuss their relationships in various pairings. Nic tells Ace he knows he is more than friends with Olandria, and their romantic spark is growing. Ace is feeling something for Chelley that he’s never felt in his life. “It’s growing towards an actual relationship,” he reveals. He wants to be realistic because while he sees them building a future together, he wants to understand what life will be like outside the villa.

Oh baby!
Now, it’s time for the Viva Las Villa challenge. Each couple must navigate through a wet and wild obstacle course that ends with a passionate kiss in a bubble-filled pool. Huda and Chris put their differences aside to go all out in the challenge. Ace feels he hit the jackpot with Chelley, and the other islanders can see their incredible chemistry. Nic and Olandria’s chemistry is obvious to everyone and they share their first kiss since their infamous makeout during Casa Amor. Iris notes, “I don’t think Nic and Olandria had a friendship kiss.” In a confessional, Nic proclaims, “It felt good to reignite that physical aspect. Finished the challenge with a bang. Showed everyone that we’re back. The king and queen are back!”
Nicolandria Kiss, Bryan and Amaya Force Chris and Huda to Find Resolution
Post challenge, the islanders get ready for the evening. Nic tells Ace how things are going with Olandria. “I get the flutters. I feel like I’m a teenager again or something.” Ace tells him, “That’s what love is supposed to feel like…don’t be scared to really dive in.” Nic knows they’ve had an unconventional relationship, but now that they’re able to fully focus on and invest in one another, he’s experiencing new sides of Olandria. Olandria tells Chelley the challenges are always fun with Nic, but kissing him now that they’re a real couple feels different. She wants to spend some quality time with him and kiss him again because they wrote their connection off too quickly after their Casa Amor kiss. Finally, Nic and Olandria sneak off to the Photobooth and smooch. Amaya and Bryan concoct a plan to get Huda and Chris to resolve their conflict. They spy from the balcony as Huda and Chris unwittingly meet up on the dock, and, though Chris doesn’t understand Huda’s thought process around intimacy, they put this disagreement to bed.
