Baby Chaos and One Final Elimination Twist Looms

Jul 9, 2025

Love Island USA Season 7, Episode 31 saw a new wave of bombshells enter the villa, as the remaining six couples grew closer while facing fresh relationship tests. With one week left in the season, everyone is effectively closed off, and it’s time to focus on their current connections. On the heels of Cierra Ortega’s shocking departure, islanders have returned to exploring intimacy, discussing what life on the outside might look like, and — test driving parenthood.
Only Six Strong Couples Remain in the ‘Love Island’ Villa

After the previous night’s recoupling, Nic and Olandria are officially together again. Olandria knows they have a wonderful connection as friends, but when asked if she’s genuinely attracted to him, she says, “All the groundwork has been planning out since day one, and moments keep leading us back to each other for a reason.” She’s ready to explore Nic romantically with a clear mind and without any distractions or obstacles. The other islanders are thrilled for them, but Olandria hasn’t had an easy time since she entered the villa at the start of the season, and they’ve clearly had a connection that’s gone unexplored. Now, it’s time to see if Nic and Olandria could have a real romantic relationship, and all signs point to yes. Amaya is already planning dates in the real world with Bryan, and he responds not by cowering, but with passionate kisses. They’re both happy to dive head first into their relationship, and it’s easy to imagine what life might look like for them on the outside. Bryan lives in Boston, and Amaya lives in New York, so he sees an easy transition in their future. Things are finally looking up for Amaya Papaya. “I have no regrets. I feel free!” she exclaims. “I feel like I could fly like the pigeons back in New York City. But I’ll be a really, pretty, clean pigeon. Your girl’s happy, and she feels like she can be herself around this man. AND she gets her smooches!”
Surprise! The Islanders Are Challenged to Become Parents … Sort Of

As night falls, the islanders cozy up in bed. Several couples are getting especially close: Iris and Pepe, along with Amaya and Bryan, spend the night making out. Nic and Olandria cuddle and flirt, while it’s later confirmed that Huda and Chris had sex. But the islanders are jolted awake to crying, and discover that they’ve received a special delivery—each couple has a simulator baby at the foot of their bed, and some couples have been given a set of twins. They’ll spend the day finding out what it might be like to parent together.

‘Love Island USA’ Season 7 Just Sent 5 Islanders Home in the Most Shocking Elimination Yet

Amaya and Pepe win over America, Cierra loses, Taylor saved, and 5 islanders eliminated in dramatic mass culling.

Real-life mamacita Huda is experiencing newborn PTSD, and Amaya is not perturbed by her new baby crying because “your mother’s a crybaby too.” The boys stage a baby race, in which they wheel their strollers around the villa and see who can change their baby the fastest. The parenting challenge brings out the best in most of the islanders, but Chris is happy to clock out and let Huda take responsibility. This couple, in particular, bicker throughout the parenting challenge, and Huda is not pleased about the way the fake father of her fake baby is behaving. She lectures Chris in front of everyone when the boys finish their race (where have we seen this before…). Ultimately, Chris pulls Huda for a chat, proactively asks what he can work on, and takes her feedback well.
‘Love Island USA’ Season 7 Couples Strengthen Bonds Ahead of Finale As Hideaway Twist Heats Things Up

The parenting challenge comes to a close, and islanders prepare for the evening. Nic and Olandria feel like a real couple, and they bring out sides of each other we don’t often see. Iris and Pepe’s connection is blossoming, and she seems to have forgotten about TJ (thankfully). Chris admits to Bryan that he and Huda had sex the previous night, and despite the day’s obstacles, they seem to be a decent match for one another. Chelley sets up a s’mores date for Ace at the fire pit. In a confessional, Ace shares that it takes him time to let his walls down and get close to someone, but he’s finally there with Chelley. “Little dates like this make me want to go ten times harder and let down everything and just say…I want to just give you everything I have,” he reveals. “It’s the best feeling in the world.” Some day, when you’re all ready to discuss how Chelley and Ace were Season 7’s strongest couple, I’ll be here waiting. There are six well-matched couples going into the final week of Love Island USA. For one of those couples, their time in the villa ends tomorrow night. The finale of Season 7 comes later this week, and many of these couples are deserving of a win and some of these predictions may just come true. At the end of the episode, fan favorite Amaya Papaya, and her partner Bryan are sent to the hideaway to further solidify their strong bond. Could they bring home the win this season? We’ll find out this Sunday. Watch Love Island USA on Peacock every day except Wednesdays. New episodes drop 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET.
