Tim Miller & David Fincher’s Animated Anthology Series Returns On May 15

“Love, Death & Robots” returns to Netflix next month with ten more shorts, and that means more animated mayhem from Tim Miller, David Fincher, and more.

We won’t give away too much about the new shorts this season, but Fincher’s latest effort features the Red Hot Chili Peppers, which sees all four band members recreate their 2003 show at Slane Castle, Ireland …as string puppets.
Here’s an official synopsis for “Love, Death & Robots Vol 4,” courtesy of Netflix:
Dinosaur gladiators, messianic cats, string-puppet rock stars, it can only be Love, Death & Robots. The fourth volume, presented by Tim Miller (Deadpool, Terminator: Dark Fate) and David Fincher (Mindhunter, The Killer), sees Jennifer Yuh Nelson (Kung Fu Panda 2, Kill Team Kill) return as supervising director for ten startling shorts showcasing the series’ signature, award-winning style of bleeding-edge animation, horror, sci-fi and humor. Buckle up.
Voice cast for “Leath, Death, & Robots Vol 4” includes John Boyega, Ed Skrein, Chris Parnell, John Oliver, Rhys Darby, MrBeast, Melissa Villaseñor, Ronny Chieng, Amy Sedaris, Kevin Hart, Dan Stevens, and more.
Miller and Fincher lead executive producers on “Love, Death & Robots Vol 4” with Jennifer Miller, and Joshua Donen.  Jennifer Yuh Nelon serves as supervising director for this batch of shorts. Other directors include Emily Dean, Patrick Osborne, Diego Porral, Robert Valley, and Robert Bisi & Andy Lyon.
