Meryl Streep Joins The ‘Only Murders In The Building’ Season 3 Cast
Jan 18, 2023
Of course, Meryl Streep is known most for her film career, earning nearly two dozen Oscar nominations. However, in recent years, Streep has dabbled a bit in the world of TV, as a lot of high-profile actors have been doing. Back in 2019, she had a major role in “Big Little Lies,” earning her acclaim. And now, in 2023, it appears she has a new series on the horizon, “Only Murders in the Building.”
As revealed on social media, Meryl Streep is joining the cast of “Only Murders in the Building” for the upcoming Season 3. No other details are known about her character or how she might factor into the new episodes, but obviously, it’s a big deal to have such a decorated actor join an already massive TV series.

Much like the situation she walked into with “Big Little Lies,” Streep joins another award-winning, all-star cast for ‘Only Murders.’ The series stars Selena Gomez, Martin Short, and Steve Martin as the core leads in a show about three people who investigate, well, murders.
And though he’s a big star, in his own right, you have to feel bad for Paul Rudd, who is also revealed to be returning for Season 3. It’s okay that he was overshadowed by Streep, however, as Rudd also appeared in Season 2. Without giving anything away about what happened in Season 2, it’ll be interesting to see how Rudd factors into the upcoming episodes.

There’s no release date for Season 3 of “Only Murders in the Building.” Season 2 debuted in June 2022, so we could be looking at another summer release for the comedy series on Hulu.
