Bob Odenkirk Returns To AMC With A New Series Dramedy About Higher Education
Jan 24, 2023
After getting his start in the world of sketch and improv comedy, Bob Odenkirk has turned into one of the most recognizable names in the world of prestige TV. That’s thanks, in no small part, to his role as Saul Goodman in “Breaking Bad” and the prequel series, “Better Call Saul.” Now, with the world of “Breaking Bad” in the rearview mirror, Odenkirk has his sights set on higher education for his new series, AMC’s “Lucky Hank.”

As seen in the teaser for “Lucky Hank,” Odenkirk stars as the title character, who wouldn’t you know it, isn’t really all that lucky at all. Kidding aside, Hank is the chair of the English department at an underfunded college in Pennsylvania. While there, he’s going through a bit of a mid-life crisis. Just based on the quick teaser, you can see how there are shades of the comedy and drama seen in things like “Better Call Saul,” which seems to be the sweet spot for the actor.

“Lucky Hank” is expected to debut on AMC and AMC+ on March 19. You can watch the new teaser below:
