Apple TV+’s New Brand Campaign Sees The Actor Get Anxious That He’s Not On The Streamer Yet
Jan 20, 2023
Apple TV+ released a new brand campaign today and, let’s be honest, it’s pretty cute. The new commercial sees Timothée Chalamet stumble upon all the streaming service has to offer and get a little flummoxed that he’s not part of the scene yet.

As the young Hollywood star muses through Apple’s recent catalog, like last year’s Oscar Best Picture winner “Coda” and the Emmy-favorite comedy “Ted Lasso,” Chalamet begins to ponder future career possibilities. Soon, Apple TV+ angst seeps into Chalamet’s entire life, from press conferences to spas, to chilling out on hotel balconies.
And the hits to Chalamet’s ego keep on coming. “”Severance” is weird …I could do weird,” Chalamet ponders after finishing the show. Jason Momoa rings Chalamet on FaceTime about finishing his latest Apple TV+ show, and Chalamet gets even more rattled. “Wait, you have a new Apple show?” he asks Momoa. “At this point who doesn’t?” Momoa gleefully replies. “Yeah, who doesn’t at this point,” says Chalamet, even more wounded than before.
After seeing Apple’s page for Martin Scorsese‘s upcoming “Killers Of The Flower Moon,” Chalamet has had enough, flinging himself forlorn on his bed. He rolls over to face the camera: “Hey Apple, call me?”
It’s a clever take on Apple’s part of Chalamet’s handsome puppy-dog persona, and a worthy sequel to their hilarious “Everyone But Jon Hamm” campaign from last year. Check out both promos for Apple TV+ below. And for heaven’s sake, Apple, drop Chalamet a line before he cries puddles over his bedspread…
