Coven Of Chaos’ Adds ‘SNL’ Alum Sasheer Zamata To The Growing Cast
Dec 11, 2022
We are quickly approaching production time for the first “WandaVision” spinoff series, “Agatha: Coven of Chaos.” And as that time approaches, we’re getting more and more casting announcements, showing that Marvel, once again, is able to land whoever they want for these projects.

According to Deadline, the newest cast member to join ‘Coven of Chaos’ is none other than “Saturday Night Live” alum, Sasheer Zamata. In a shocking bit of privacy, Marvel Studios isn’t revealing the exact role Zamata will have in the series. Zamata is best known for her several years of work on ‘SNL.’ However, she’s been in a number of projects in recent years including roles in “Mitchells vs. the Machines,” “I Feel Pretty,” as well as TV series such as “Home Economics” and “Woke.”
Zamata joins a cast that is led by Agatha herself, Kathryn Hahn, reprising her “WandaVision” role. The supporting cast includes Joe Locke, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, and Aubrey Plaza. Reports suggest that Plaza will be the villain role in the series (which is interesting considering Agatha is a villain herself). Ahn and Dizzia are said to be other witches. And perhaps most interesting is Locke, who is rumored to be playing a grown version of the Scarlet Witch’s son, Billy.
