I’m A Massive Fan Of Mike White
Mar 11, 2025
“The White Lotus” is arguably one of the biggest must-watch shows currently airing on HBO, a phenomenon really, and it sounds like one high-profile actress is just itching for creator Mike White to give her a call about joining the acclaimed dark comedy series (in its third season) focusing on the guests of a fictional hotel chain.
Nicole Kidman (“Baby Girl”) has revealed that she is a huge fan of “The White Lotus” and hasn’t been contacted about getting involved, but is a “massive fan” of White’s writing and is now putting it out into the world that she would love to appear.

“I don’t think I’ve ever been asked,” Kidman told IndieWire while promoting her new film “Holland” at the SXSW Film Festival in Austin and asked about her desire to be part of one of those elaborate casts. Kidman added, “I’m a massive fan of Mike White, so I would do anything he writes because I just think he’s phenomenal. I love ‘The White Lotus.’ So there you go.”
Of course, all three seasons have had casts that mix recognizable actors and newcomers alike, making it the perfect stomping ground for talent to play eccentric and against-type characters.
It is worth noting that Kidman isn’t a stranger to working on HBO projects after the acclaimed “Big Little Lies” and co-starring with Hugh Grant in “The Undoing.”
Also, the Aussie actress has been making a concerted effort to move between theatrical and television projects over the last decade. So, in theory, it likely wouldn’t take much to get the ball rolling on Kidman joining the next season of “The White Lotus” or whatever comes next from White.
