Netflix Crime Drama Stars Stephen Graham

British actor Stephen Graham (“The Irishman”) has been quite the busy bee lately with his period boxing drama “A Thousand Blows” from Steven Knight (“Peaky Blinders”) now streaming, taking a supporting role in the “Peaky Blinders” movie, and has another series coming out next month on Netflix with “Adolescence.”

“Adolescence” sees Graham playing the father of Jamie Miller, a young teen who is arrested for the murder of a girl from the student’s school. The streaming giant has released a new trailer for “Adolescence” and will be available for subscribers on March 13. 
Joining Graham in the streaming series is a supporting cast that features Ashley Walters, Erin Doherty, Owen Cooper, Faye Marsay, Christine Tremarco, Mark Stanley, Jo Hartley, and Amélie Pease. 
Netflix’s synopsis for the upcoming drama: 
Adolescence’ tells the story of how a family’s world is turned upside down when 13-year-old Jamie Miller (Owen Cooper) is arrested for the murder of a teenage girl who goes to his school. Stephen Graham takes on the role of Jamie’s father and ‘appropriate adult,’ Eddie Miller, while Ashley Walters stars as Detective Inspector Luke Bascombe. Erin Doherty joins the cast as Briony Ariston, the clinical psychologist assigned to Jamie’s case.
Graham and Jack Thorne co-wrote the show together with Philip Barantini (“Boiling Point”) directing episodes.
