Rachel Brosnahan Returns One More Time In Prime Video’s Acclaimed Comedy Series

Mar 21, 2023

All good things must come to an end, and that’s what’s happening with Prime Video’s Emmy-winning comedy series, “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.”
As seen in the trailer for Season 5 of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” the series keeps with the comedy and witty dialogue that you’ve grown to love, but the plot is clearly reaching its crescendo. We’re seeing Maisel (Rachel Brosnahan) starting to fulfill her dreams in ways she would have never imagined way back in Season 1, but she’s still surrounded by the supporting cast that often steals the show.

Joining Brosnahan in the cast are Tony Shalhoub, Alex Borstein, Marin Hinkle, Michael Zegen, Kevin Pollak, and Caroline Aaron. Once again, ‘Maisel’ is written, directed, produced, and showrun by creator Amy Sherman-Palladino alongside Daniel Palladino.
As mentioned, ‘Maisel’ is one of the most acclaimed series in Prime Video’s history. The series has already picked up an incredible 20 Emmy wins, including Outstanding Comedy Series. Interestingly, the series won 8 of those Emmys back in 2018 after the series’ first season. Since then, while still a beloved show, the awards recognition has leveled off a bit. However, a final season is sometimes the boost a show needs to earn those Emmy wins.
The final season of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” debuts on Prime Video on April 14. You can watch the trailer below.
Here’s the synopsis for the fifth and final season:
In the fifth and final season, Midge finds herself closer than ever to the success she’s dreamed of, only to discover that closer than ever is still so far away.
