Comrade in America (CIA) staring Dulquer Salman in lead role and directed by Amal Neerad. Audiences are running for Baahubali Goosebumbs and fans of DQ were waiting for his movie in theatres and is now showing.
This time we are going to review about the movie Comrade In America (CIA). Lets get into it.
The movie is mixed with some political sequences and love scenes. Aji Mathew played by Dulquer Salman is a youth who has some communist ideologies. He falls for a girl who then migrated to USA. Aji goes to America to find her love and thus follows is the plot of the movie.
Dulquer Salmaan, he played his best for the character he had in the movie. His Pala style malayalam language is an attraction. He excelled in his mass and romantic performance.
Karthika Muralidharan, she had a decent debut through this movie. She who paired against DQ was a perfect combination. Actor Siddique as DQ’s father in the movie done his part very well. Rest of the cast also played their part very well.
Direction of the movie by Amal Neerad is good. But it is hard to deliver a perfect movie without a strong story base. Direction and performance of actors are not enough to make it worth if its story is weak.
Script of the movie has only little interesting scenes to remember. Second half of the movie is very slow. Gopi Sundar’s BGM and the introduction of Dulquer Salman were the highlight of the movie.
Those who expected a class combination of DQ and Amal Neerad will be disappointed. Its an ordinary movie which is loosely written and tightly delivered.
