Solo – Dulquer Salman (Tamil / Malayalam) Movie Review & Rating

Solo - 2017 Malayalam Movie Poster

Rating: 2/5

Solo – Dulquer Salman’s bilingual movie directed by Bejoy Nambiar is in theatres and after a long time of waiting the fans rushed to the theatres to catch the movie. Lets see if the movie satisfied the audience.

The movie is a great attemp by Bejoy Nambiar to portrait four segments World of Rudra, World Of Siva, World Of Shekhar, and World Of Trilok.

DQ is playing the characters Rudra, Siva, Shekhar and Trilok in the movie. In a partial way, we can say that our director tried to create a movie like his one of the previous movie David.

Of the four characters played by DQ, character Trilok is the best. This story worked emotionally among the audience. DQ’s performance for the four characters were pakka and need to praise him in some scenes.

Actress Dhansika and Neha Sharma who paired with DQ in the segments World of Shekhar and World of Rudra respectively played their part very well.

The making style and segments of the story telling is new in the industry. In that case our director made a decent and fantastic making of the movie. Technical aspects and songs were good in the movie.

But places with slow pace lost the some charm in the movie. Actress Arthi Venkatesh needs some improvement in her performance while actress Sruthi Hariharan needs special mention for the role she had taken.

Overall the movie can be a worth watch for the audience if you keep you expectation beyond a limit.
